Senior Piping Designer

Foreign company is looking for Senior Piping Designer. This work is based on permanent employment condition in Uzhno-Sakhalinsk (Sakhalin 2 project). Company provides employee and his family mobilization to the project and other good social benefits according to Russian Federation Legislation.
Basic Functions
? To carry out piping studies
? To prepare Design Drawings from Engineering Data and Specifications in accordance with Project / Company / Client Standards and Procedures. These will include piping isometrics, pipe supports and minor mechanical details
? To check Drawings
? To prepare Material Take Off.
? Preferably already proficient in PDMS use.
? Proficient in 2D Autocad.
? To carry out document searches via LiveLink and Documentum
? To support the piping offshore survey effort with occasional offshore survey trips.
? Preferably oil and gas engineering background previously.
Interpersonal Skills:

The candidate will be motivated to self improve and to accept instructions from the lead piping designer
Competencies:
The candidate will be able to operate as part of a medium size team, will demonstrate good safety awareness, will have an upper-intermediate command of the English language as a minimum
Business & Industry Experience:
The candidate will have a minimum of five years experience of an engineering design environment and preferably experience of PDMS or equivalent 3D CAD package and Autocad. Additional experience of a piping construction environment would be an advantage as is any formal qualification in the oil & gas industry
Educational Attainments:

A local qualification in oil & gas engineering or any associated industry including pharmaceutical, power, marine shipping, petro-chem or oil and gas would be an advantage
